These terms apply to your use of the Observing Emotions Android application and its informational website. By using the app, you agree to use it lawfully and responsibly.
The app is provided as a personal tool for recording and reviewing emotional states. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the information you enter and for keeping your device, exported files and backup passwords secure.
The app is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, therapy, medical advice or emergency assistance. Do not use it as a substitute for qualified professional or emergency help.
Most app data is stored locally on your device. Exports and backups are created at your request. You are responsible for the locations where you save those files and for anyone with access to them. An encrypted backup password cannot be recovered by the developer.
If the app is offered as a paid application, purchase, payment processing, delivery and refunds are handled under the applicable Google Play terms and policies. The app does not give you access to another user's data or accounts.
The app and its website may be updated, changed or temporarily unavailable. Features may depend on Android system settings, including notification permissions and file access. The developer may correct errors and release updates when appropriate.
The app, its original text, design and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the app for its intended purpose and must not misuse, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, or redistribute it outside the permissions granted by the applicable platform and law.
